“While she wandered I followed her, as a shadow, intrigued about what she would do next.
She went up a ladder and ended up in the elevator’s engine room. She opened a door and we found ourselves in a roof terrace, with the city under our feet. She took out a rope and started tying the knots.”
Filmmakers, photographers and artists Kamil “CamKam”Janowski and Arantxa Hurtado combine forces for the first time in this exhibition. While Kamil focuses on monochromatic faces, Arantxa does it on eccentrically colored bodies. They both meet in the dark crevices of the subconscious.
Kamil Janowski has always been fascinated by people around him and capturing them in their surrounding became almost an obsession. Now he is focusing more on the individuals, capturing them on analogue large format cameras.

Arantxa Hurtado has been photographing nudes for as long as she can remember. She enjoys exploring female nudity in nature and public spaces, divesting it from social constructs and enhancing its sensuality by just letting it be.
